Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.

Hamilton CO2NTROL is a solid-state, optical sensor designed for the direct, maintenance-free measurement of dissolved carbon dioxide (DCO2) in bioprocess applications. Utilising Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) technology, it measures CO2 absorption to provide a precise, real-time reading of partial pressure, eliminating the drift and maintenance burdens associated with traditional Severinghaus electrodes. This continuous monitoring capability allows for the automated control of DCO2 as a critical process parameter, preventing the accumulation of toxic levels that can inhibit cell growth and impact product titer.

The sensor offers a broad measuring range of 5 to 1000 mbar (0.5 to 100% vol), covering the entire spectrum required for microbial and mammalian bioproduction. Its solid-state construction removes the need for electrolytes or gas-permeable membranes that require frequent replacement, significantly reducing downtime and operating costs. The hygienic design is EHEDG-certified and ready for GMP-compliant workflows, featuring a smooth, cleanable surface that resists fouling.

Supplied with a standard PG13.5 process connection, the CO2NTROL sensor is fully autoclavable and steam-sterilisable, maintaining performance across an operating temperature range of -10 °C to 60 °C. It connects directly to bioreactor controllers via Modbus or 4–20 mA signals, supporting seamless scalability from benchtop scale-down models to commercial production vessels.
