What you pay: Product prices you see on Cellbase include:
- Supplier's base product price
- Cellbase marketplace commission
- Shipping costs (shown separately at checkout)
Commission: Cellbase charges suppliers a small percentage commission on each sale. This commission is included in displayed prices, so you never pay additional fees beyond the listed product price and shipping.
Shipping costs: Shipping is charged at cost with no markup. We pass through the exact rates from suppliers' chosen carriers. Costs vary based on:
- Package size and weight
- Delivery location
- Shipping speed selected
- Special handling (e.g., cold chain for cell lines)
Volume discounts: Many suppliers offer volume discounts. Use the "Request Quote" link for this:
