Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.
Opo Bio bovine cell lines provide reliable primary cell sources for cultivated beef research and development. Each line is isolated from defined cattle breeds, including Aberdeen Angus, offering consistency and traceability for comparative studies. The cells are derived from adult male skeletal muscle tissue and supplied frozen at low passage. They maintain stable growth and differentiation potential across multiple passages, providing a strong foundation for muscle tissue engineering.
All lines are adherent and validated for myogenic marker expression through antibody staining and FACS analysis. Typical doubling times average thirty-three hours, with post-thaw viability above ninety percent. Each vial contains approximately 1.2 million viable cells and has been tested negative for bacteria, fungi, and mycoplasma by a certified laboratory. Sourcing from high-health status New Zealand livestock ensures a pathogen-free profile, including BSE-free certification, to support global regulatory submissions.
Opo Bio cells are supplied with a full documentation pack that includes donor information, morphology images, recommended culture media, and differentiation protocols. Access to technical support and verified procedures is included with each purchase to facilitate seamless integration into existing R&D workflows.
These products are for research and development use only. They are not intended for human or diagnostic applications.
Cellag Bio is the structured intelligence layer for cultivated meat R&D — scattered published research distilled into decision-ready records: what worked, what failed, the likely cause, and what to do instead. Before committing budget to a medium, reagent, or cell line, check the evidence behind it: real experimental outcomes and failure modes, not marketing claims.
Search by media, reagent, cell line or species (e.g. "Beefy-9" or "B8") to find the records that use it.
