Opo Bio bovine cell lines provide elite primary cell sources for premium cultivated Wagyu beef research. Isolated from defined Bos taurus Wagyu lineages, these satellite cells offer the biological foundation required for high-end muscle tissue engineering. They are derived from adult female skeletal muscle and supplied frozen, maintaining stable doubling times and myogenic potential across multiple passages.
All lines are adherent and validated for myogenic markers including CD56 and CD29 through antibody staining. Typical doubling times range between thirty-nine and fifty-five hours, with post-thaw viability above ninety percent. Each vial contains approximately 1.2 million viable cells and has been tested negative for mycoplasma by certified laboratories. Sourcing from New Zealand ensures a superior health status and simplifies global regulatory navigation for novel food producers.
The cells are supplied with a full documentation pack including breed-specific donor data, morphology images, and differentiation protocols. Standardised procedures and technical support are included to ensure reproducible results in premium beef applications.
