Quest Meat Aberdeen Angus Cross myosatellite cells provide a reliable, traceable primary cell source to address the lack of consistent starting materials in cultivated beef R&D. These cells enable researchers to establish stable muscle tissue engineering foundations using defined cattle breeds, facilitating the transition from benchtop experiments to pilot-scale production.
Isolated from muscle tissue of Aberdeen Angus Cross cattle and supplied at passage one to ensure high differentiation potential. Each batch is provided with a comprehensive documentation pack including donor-specific traceability, morphology imagery, and established differentiation protocols to ensure experimental reproducibility.
Validated for myogenic marker expression via antibody staining with typical doubling times under 40 hours. Post-thaw viability exceeds 70% with stable growth maintained across multiple passages. All vials are certified negative for bacteria, fungi, and mycoplasma by independent laboratory testing.
Adherent cells supplied as a frozen suspension in one-million-cell vials. Requires standard myogenic culture media and adherent surfaces for expansion; no complex adaptation periods are necessary for implementation into existing workflows.
