Roslin Technologies bovine embryo-derived stem cells (ESCs) represent a premier solution for the advancement of cultivated beef and structured tissue engineering. Sourced from Bos taurus (Angus x Simmental and Holstein) embryos with full veterinary certification, these primary lines are derived and cultured in a serum-free, feeder-free environment to ensure maximum purity and regulatory compliance.
The embryo-derived lines maintain high viability and a rapid doubling time of less than 24 hours in adherent and suspension formats. These cells possess broad differentiation capacity, proven to mature into mesodermal progenitors, adipocytes, myocytes, and fibroblasts. Detailed quality control data, including RNAseq and pluripotency marker validation (OCT4, NANOG, SOX2), is provided to support consistent trilineage potential throughout expansion.
Bovine ESC lines are available under standard R&D and Commercial license agreements. These licenses provide researchers with full protocol documentation and technical assistance for thawing, seeding, and differentiation. Roslin Technologies ensures that each lot meets stringent sterility and genetic stability standards.
