Metabolic Pathway Mapping for Cultivated Meat Cells
If you are building cultivated meat processes, metabolic pathway mapping helps you decide what to feed, when to feed it, and what sensors to use before cell state drifts. I’d...

Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.
Chicken Primary Muscle Cells are high-quality, cryopreserved myoblasts isolated from the thigh muscles of Gallus gallus specific pathogen free embryos. Harvested at Passage 1 (P1), these cells offer a physiologically relevant starting point for cultivated meat research, enabling the development of species-specific protocols for proliferation and differentiation without the genetic drift associated with high-passage lines.
Supplied with a guaranteed count of over 1 million cells per vial, these primary isolates demonstrate high viability (>80%) upon thawing. They exhibit typical myoblast-like morphology in their proliferative state.
Each lot undergoes rigorous quality control testing to ensure sterility. The cells are certified negative for Mycoplasma, bacteria, and fungi, ensuring a clean and reliable source for establishing cell banks or conducting bioprocess optimization.
The cells are supplied frozen in a 1 mL cryovial and require storage in the vapour phase of liquid nitrogen. Rapid thawing at 37°C is recommended to maintain optimal viability.
Suitable for basic research, media formulation testing, and scale-up studies for cultivated chicken products.
Cellag Bio is the structured intelligence layer for cultivated meat R&D — scattered published research distilled into decision-ready records: what worked, what failed, the likely cause, and what to do instead. Before committing budget to a medium, reagent, or cell line, check the evidence behind it: real experimental outcomes and failure modes, not marketing claims.
Search by media, reagent, cell line or species (e.g. "Beefy-9" or "B8") to find the records that use it.
