NFMGG1 is a growth medium supplement formulated for the suspension culture of avian cells under low‑serum conditions. Designed for use with DMEM/F12 basal medium, this proprietary supplement supports efficient cell expansion in suspension‑adapted chicken cell lines while reducing reliance on animal-derived components relative to traditional high‑serum formulations.
The formulation enables reliable cell growth with typical doubling times of approximately 24 hours. While cultures may exhibit a low degree of aggregation compared to serum‑free conditions, the medium provides a consistent, performance‑tested baseline for the scalable production of avian cells in shake flasks and stirred‑tank bioreactors.
NFMGG1 is suitable for research and pilot‑scale applications where a defined, low‑serum formulation is required to balance growth performance with reduced animal component input.
