Case Study: Alarm Systems in Cultivated Meat Bioreactors
If you run a mammalian cell bioreactor for up to 28 days, weak alarm design can cost you the batch. In this case, I’d boil the article down to one...

Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.
Opo Bio porcine cell lines provide reliable primary cell sources for cultivated pork research and development. Isolated from juvenile male Sus scrofa skeletal muscle tissue, these satellite cells offer consistency and stable growth for biomass expansion studies. They are supplied frozen and maintain stable growth across multiple passages, providing a strong foundation for porcine muscle tissue engineering.
All lines are adherent and validated for myogenic marker expression (CD56+ and CD29+) through antibody staining. Typical doubling times average thirty-two hours, allowing for rapid expansion in bioprocess workflows. Each vial contains approximately 1.2 million viable cells and has been tested negative for bacteria, fungi, and mycoplasma. Sourcing from New Zealand livestock ensures the cells are free from major swine pathogens and meet international food safety standards.
Opo Bio porcine cells are supplied with a full documentation pack including donor information, morphology images, and recommended culture media. Technical support and verified subculture protocols are provided to assist with process optimisation.
These products are for research and development use only. They are not intended for human or diagnostic applications.
Cellag Bio is the structured intelligence layer for cultivated meat R&D — scattered published research distilled into decision-ready records: what worked, what failed, the likely cause, and what to do instead. Before committing budget to a medium, reagent, or cell line, check the evidence behind it: real experimental outcomes and failure modes, not marketing claims.
Search by media, reagent, cell line or species (e.g. "Beefy-9" or "B8") to find the records that use it.
