Customising Chassis Cells for Structured Meat Products
For cultivated meat R&D teams, producing structured whole-cuts like steaks or fillets requires more than just growing cells. The key lies in chassis cells - muscle, fat, and connective tissue...

Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.
Alvetex® Advanced single well plates provide a reliable labware solution for large-volume 3D cell culture and biomass expansion research. Specifically engineered to accommodate up to six Alvetex Advanced modular inserts via specialized handle holders, these 50 mL vessels provide a significantly increased nutrient reservoir compared to standard plate formats. This provides a strong foundation for long-term muscle and fat tissue engineering where metabolic demands are high.
The single-well format is validated for applications requiring extended intervals between media changes and ensures uniform exposure to growth factors across multiple 3D tissue replicates. By maintaining a constant and stable growth environment, these plates facilitate the maturation of thick connective tissue layers and complex co-culture models. Each plate is manufactured from high-quality, inert polystyrene and tested for compatibility with standard 3D bioprocessing and analytical workflows.
These plates are supplied with a full documentation pack that includes vessel dimensions, assembly guides, and recommended media volumes for modular insert integration. Technical support and verified procedures are included with each purchase to ensure reproducible results during the transition from static bench-top R&D to pilot-scale bioprocessing.
These products are for research and development use only. They are not intended for human or diagnostic applications.
Cellag Bio is the structured intelligence layer for cultivated meat R&D — scattered published research distilled into decision-ready records: what worked, what failed, the likely cause, and what to do instead. Before committing budget to a medium, reagent, or cell line, check the evidence behind it: real experimental outcomes and failure modes, not marketing claims.
Search by media, reagent, cell line or species (e.g. "Beefy-9" or "B8") to find the records that use it.
