Customising Chassis Cells for Structured Meat Products
For cultivated meat R&D teams, producing structured whole-cuts like steaks or fillets requires more than just growing cells. The key lies in chassis cells - muscle, fat, and connective tissue...

Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.
Alvetex® Perfusion Plate Kits provide a reliable synthetic system for long-term 3D cell culture expansion under continuous flow conditions. This kit combines two Alvetex perfusion plates with twelve high-porosity 6-well scaffolds, enabling the study of cellular responses to fluid shear stress and providing a strong foundation for bioreactor scale-up in cultivated meat production.
The system is validated for stable growth across multiple weeks of continuous culture, with the perfusion format significantly increasing the biomass limit compared to static models. By providing constant nutrient delivery and metabolic waste removal, this kit maintains high post-thaw viability and consistent differentiation potential in dense muscle and fat tissue models. Each component is manufactured from inert polystyrene and has been tested negative for adventitious agents and mycoplasma.
Supplied with a full documentation pack, this kit includes setup guides, morphology images, and recommended flow rates for various primary cell types. Technical support and verified procedures are provided with each purchase to assist with the transition from bench-top R&D to automated, pilot-scale biomanufacturing.
These products are for research and development use only. They are not intended for human or diagnostic applications.
Cellag Bio is the structured intelligence layer for cultivated meat R&D — scattered published research distilled into decision-ready records: what worked, what failed, the likely cause, and what to do instead. Before committing budget to a medium, reagent, or cell line, check the evidence behind it: real experimental outcomes and failure modes, not marketing claims.
Search by media, reagent, cell line or species (e.g. "Beefy-9" or "B8") to find the records that use it.
