The Steriflow SV Series Sample Valve is a high-precision sanitary component engineered specifically for extracting process samples in high-purity environments. Optimized for use with Clean Steam and Hot Water for Injection (WFI), this valve is typically installed upstream of sample coolers to provide a safe and sterile method for fluid monitoring. Its robust construction and specialized sealing technology ensure a bubble-tight shut-off and a long service life, even in the most demanding thermal cycles.
Constructed from 316L Stainless Steel, the SV Series features an internal electropolish finish of 20 Ra µin (0.5 µm Ra), meeting SF5 sanitary standards to prevent bacterial adhesion. The valve utilizes a Perlast® seat seal and a Viton™ stem seal, both of which are FDA and USP Class VI compliant. This material selection provides exceptional resistance to high temperatures and aggressive process media. When installed with the handle in an upward or lateral orientation, the valve is fully self-draining, eliminating potential dead legs and ensuring representative samples every time.
Designed for ease of operation and integration, the SV Series includes a heat-resistant Polyethermide handle and standard sanitary Tri-clamp connections ranging from 1/4" to 4". Capable of withstanding operating pressures up to 116 psig (8.0 barg) and temperatures up to 176°C, it is an essential tool for biopharmaceutical, food, and beverage manufacturers who prioritize process purity and regulatory compliance in their sampling protocols.
For biopharmaceutical and high-purity industrial use. Features USP Class VI and FDA compliant wetted materials. Fully compatible with CIP and SIP processes.
Cellag Bio has no published studies on this product yet.
Cellag Bio is a database of published cultivated meat research, organized into decision-ready records: what worked, what failed, the likely cause, and what to do instead. Before you commit budget to a medium, reagent, or cell line, check the evidence behind it.
Search by medium, reagent, cell line, or species (for example "Beefy-9" or "B8") to find the studies that use it.
