IGF-1 LR3 is particularly effective for promoting muscle cell proliferation, differentiation, and hypertrophy in cultivated meat production, with lower supplementation frequencies required compared to standard IGF-1, reducing media costs and simplifying feeding schedules in commercial-scale bioreactor operations.
This food-grade recombinant protein is produced in E. coli expression systems and purified to >98% purity by SDS-PAGE quantitative densitometry. Manufactured in the UK under a HACCP food manufacturing regime, the protein is animal-origin-free (AOF), carrier protein-free, and tag-free to ensure exceptional purity and lot-to-lot consistency suitable for food applications. Comprehensive quality control includes mass spectrometry confirmation of expected molecular weight, recovery testing from stock vials (>95%), endotoxin analysis (<0.05 EU/μg protein), and full traceability documentation including certificates of analysis, certificates of origin, allergen analysis, beta-lactam-free certification, and animal-origin-free verification.
