The Alicat L-Series Liquid Flow Meter is engineered for high-performance volumetric flow measurement in demanding laboratory and industrial environments. Utilizing a patented laminar flow design, the L-Series delivers an industry-leading 20ms response time, providing near-instantaneous readings of volumetric flow rate and line temperature. Unlike traditional liquid meters, the L-Series requires no warm-up time—reaching full operational accuracy within one second of power-on.
Designed for versatility across a range of fluids, the meter comes pre-calibrated for water and offers alternate calibrations for common solvents and fuels such as methanol, iso-propanol, ethanol, and heptane. Each unit features accessible front bleed ports to easily remove trapped air, ensuring measurement integrity and preventing sensor drift. With a wide turndown ratio of 50:1 and flow ranges from 0.5 CCM up to 10 LPM, the L-Series is a flexible tool for precise flow characterization and monitoring.
Integration into digital and analog systems is seamless, with standard RS-232 serial communications and multiple analog output options (0-5V, 1-10V, 0-10V, or 4-20mA). Optional CSA/ATEX certifications are available for use in hazardous areas. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty and NIST-traceable calibration, the Alicat L-Series Liquid Flow Meter is the ideal choice for research institutes, university laboratories, and personal care manufacturing.
