Gibco™ DMEM (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) is a widely used basal medium for supporting the growth of a variety of mammalian cells. This formulation contains a high concentration of glucose (4.5 g/L), making it suitable for cells with high metabolic demands.
This specific formulation (Cat. No. 11965092) is modified with L-glutamine, Phenol Red, and high glucose, and without sodium pyruvate and HEPES. The sodium bicarbonate buffer system requires a 5–10% CO₂ environment to maintain physiological pH.
Produced in cGMP-compliant facilities, Gibco™ DMEM contains no proteins, lipids, or growth factors, making it an ideal foundation for custom supplementations. Each batch is manufactured to meet rigorous quality standards for sterility and performance.
This medium is stable for up to 12 months when stored at 2–8 °C and protected from light. It is shipped at ambient temperature and is suitable for both research use and further manufacturing applications.
