Legal

Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.

Opo Bio ovine cell lines provide reliable primary cell sources for cultivated lamb and mutton research. Isolated from defined adult Romney sheep donors, these satellite cells offer consistency and traceability for tissue expansion studies. The cells are derived from skeletal muscle tissue and supplied frozen at low passage. They maintain stable growth and myogenic potential across multiple passages, providing a strong foundation for muscle tissue engineering.

All lines are adherent and validated for myogenic marker expression, including CD56 and CD29, through antibody staining. Typical doubling times average twenty-eight hours, with post-thaw viability above ninety percent. Each vial contains approximately 1.2 million viable cells and has been tested negative for bacteria, fungi, and mycoplasma. Sourcing from New Zealand’s high-health status flocks ensures a superior biosecurity profile for regulatory-aligned R&D.

The cells are supplied with a full documentation pack that includes donor breed information, morphology images, recommended culture media, and differentiation protocols. Technical support and verified protocols are included with each purchase to ensure reproducible results.

These products are for research and development use only. They are not intended for human or diagnostic applications.
