HABITAT Ferment Double-Wall Bioreactor – Double-wall vessel package offers an optimized bioreactor solution for fermentation applications, enabling precise monitoring and control of fermentation processes. Together with a separately available control tower package, it provides the necessary components for a successful fermentation process.
The system includes a double-walled glass vessel for fermentation applications, an appropriate stirring drive, and the necessary connection accessories. For comprehensive tracking of critical bioprocess parameters, the package comes standard with latest-technology sensors to precisely monitor temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), filling level, and foam.
The double-walled jacket is designed for advanced thermal stability. When paired with an external heating/cooling circulator (such as the IKA HRC 2), the temperature range can be freely adjusted between 5–80°C via the double jacket, independent of room conditions or heat generated by the culture itself.
Available in multiple configurations to fit your exact throughput requirements, users can select between 0.25 L, 0.5 L, 1 L, 2 L, 5 L, and 10 L vessel volumes. Please note that a vessel package must be paired with a separately available control tower package (such as the HABITAT Ferment control tower) to form a fully functional unit. Optimized for flexible bioprocessing, the system features cross-platform connectivity and works with control software capable of supporting optional FDA CFR Part 11 compliance.
