XCeLL Factor™ FGF2 Recombinant FGF2 Gallus

XCeLL Factor™ Recombinant FGF2 Gallus from Cell Culture Collective is a high-purity, heparin-binding recombinant protein engineered to support cell proliferation, migration, stem cell expansion, and tissue regeneration in avian cell culture systems. Produced via an E. coli expression system, this chemically defined growth factor plays an essential role in maintaining primary cell lines and satellite cells, making it an excellent component for cultivated meat research and serum-free formulation strategies.

The protein features an amino acid length of 189 AA (with His tag) and an estimated molecular weight of ~20.7 kDa. It undergoes rigorous quality control to deliver >95% purity as evaluated by SDS-PAGE, an endotoxin level of <0.1 EU/µg, and a 0.2 µm sterile-filtered rating. In functional validation assays utilizing NIH-3T3 fibroblast proliferation, it demonstrates dose-dependent activity with an ED50 of ≤1 ng/mL.
