Legal

Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.

The Alvetex Scaffold 12-well insert enables cells to maintain their natural morphology and responsiveness within an in vitro model. These polystyrene inserts are engineered for consistency and are compatible with both standard 6-well and 12-well plates. The 12-well format is ideal for researchers requiring a smaller surface area than the 6-well version while maintaining high-density 3D cultures.

By positioning the scaffold at the air-liquid interface or fully submerged, researchers can control nutrient access to promote specialized cell differentiation. The inert nature of the material ensures that cellular behavior is driven by 3D architecture rather than chemical signaling from the scaffold itself.

Supplied in a dry, sterile format, these inserts are ready for immediate seeding. They support a wide range of cell types, including primary cells and immortalized lines, facilitating the creation of more predictive biological models.

For research and development use only. Not intended for human diagnostic or therapeutic use.
