Legal

Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.

Alvetex® Scaffold Well Insert Starter Kits provide a reliable primary source for researchers developing complex 3D tissue models and co-culture systems. Each kit is a comprehensive package containing validated Alvetex scaffold inserts and specialised holders, offering the consistency and traceability required for studying paracrine signalling and barrier function in cultivated meat R&D.

The kit is specifically designed for insert-based 3D culture, where the 200 µm thick polystyrene scaffold allows cells to be suspended within a nutrient reservoir. This format is adherent-compatible and validated for the simultaneous maturation of diverse cell types, such as muscle and fat layers. The scaffolds maintain stable doubling times and physiologically relevant morphology, providing a strong foundation for structured tissue engineering.

Each kit is supplied with a full documentation pack that includes morphology images, recommended culture media volumes, and standardised protocols for insert seeding. Access to technical support and verified procedures is included with each purchase to ensure reproducible results during the transition from simple 2D models to advanced 3D tissue bioengineering.

These products are for research and development use only. They are not intended for human or diagnostic applications.
