Each kit is a comprehensive package containing validated Alvetex scaffold inserts and specialised holders, offering the consistency and traceability required for studying paracrine signalling and barrier function in cultivated meat R&D.
The kit is specifically designed for insert-based 3D culture, where the 200 µm thick polystyrene scaffold allows cells to be suspended within a nutrient reservoir. This format is adherent-compatible and validated for the simultaneous maturation of diverse cell types, such as muscle and fat layers. The scaffolds maintain stable doubling times and physiologically relevant morphology, providing a strong foundation for structured tissue engineering.
