Legal

Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.

The ChainReactor platform is a next-generation bioreactor system designed to reduce the capital expenditure and lead times associated with bioprocess scaling. Utilising proprietary 3D-printing technology, these bioreactors feature patent-pending polymer vessels that can be manufactured on-demand, offering a flexible alternative to traditional glass or stainless steel infrastructure.

The system is highly versatile, capable of operating in Stirred Tank, Airlift, or Perfusion modes to suit specific cell types and protocols. It supports a wide volumetric range—from 250 mL benchtop units for R&D to 2,000 L vessels for pilot-scale production—allowing users to scale up using the same architecture.

Each unit is powered by an advanced Control Station featuring a touchscreen interface, integrated peristaltic pumps, and cascade control for precise regulation of pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), and temperature. The platform distinguishes itself with integrated Machine Vision soft sensors, which enable real-time, non-invasive monitoring of culture dynamics. Connectivity features include cloud control and scriptable automation, facilitating remote management and complex process design.

The heating and cooling systems are included as standard, ensuring precise thermal management without external circulators.

Suitable for: Process development, media optimisation, and pilot-scale production of mammalian cells and microbial fermentation.
