Human FGF-basic (FGF-2/bFGF) is a highly potent recombinant signaling protein designed to support the proliferation and maintenance of various mammalian cell types. As a key member of the fibroblast growth factor family, it interacts with high-affinity transmembrane receptors to influence critical biological processes, including cell growth, tissue repair, and neovascularization. This 17 kDa protein is an essential component for researchers working with pluripotent stem cells (PSCs), neural stem cells, and endothelial cell lines.
This recombinant protein is expressed in E. coli and purified to high standards to ensure exceptional bioactivity and lot-to-lot consistency.
