Energy Efficiency in Bioreactor Scale-Up Processes
Scaling up bioreactors for cultivated meat production - from small (1–5 L) to large (1,000+ L) systems - brings energy challenges. Larger volumes require more power for mixing, oxygen transfer,...

Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.
KCell provides direct post-sales support including troubleshooting, process optimisation, and protocol guidance. Batch-specific documents available on request.
Ham’s F-12 is a nutrient-rich basal medium formulated for mammalian cell lines such as CHO, HeLa, and L-cells. It contains elevated levels of choline, inositol, putrescine, and select amino acids compared with earlier formulations such as F-10. KCell’s Ham’s F-12 is manufactured under cGMP and ISO-certified conditions to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and reproducibility.
The medium can be ordered with or without L-glutamine, phenol red, or sodium pyruvate, and is available in liquid or powder formats. Its balanced formulation supports serum-containing and serum-free systems, making it suitable for hybrid media such as DMEM/F12 blends or custom cultivated-meat processes.
Ham’s F-12 is often used for the maintenance and differentiation of adherent cells that require more complex nutrient environments. Its amino-acid profile and buffering stability make it ideal for long-term culture of animal muscle and connective-tissue cells in research settings.
