Steriflow SHC Series Sanitary Check Valve (Custom)

The Steriflow SHC (Sanitary Horizontal Check) Series is a high-performance, spring-loaded valve engineered specifically to prevent reverse flow in horizontal high-purity piping systems. Designed for the biopharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industries, the SHC ensures unidirectional flow in process lines, protecting sensitive equipment from backpressure and contamination. Its specialized horizontal configuration provides a reliable solution for compact skid layouts and pharmaceutical fluid transfer lines.

This configuration features a 1" ASME Tri-Clamp size and is constructed with a premium Hastelloy-C body and a Teflon disc. The internal wetted parts feature an ASME BPE SF5 electropolished surface finish of 20 Ra µin (0.5 Ra µm) to maintain the highest sanitary standards, while the external surfaces are finished to a 40 Ra µin (1 Ra µm) electropolished standard. The design utilizes a heavy-duty spring to ensure positive, bubble-tight shut-off and minimize chatter during operation, with all wetted components manufactured from USP Class VI compliant materials to offer full compatibility with aggressive process fluids and high-temperature cleaning cycles.

The SHC series is fully Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) compatible, featuring a crevice-free internal geometry that eliminates dead legs and prevents bacterial growth. Equipped with convenient Tri-Clamp connections and a simple, maintainable design, this valve provides long-term reliability and a low cost of ownership.
