DMEM/F12 combines Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium with Ham’s F-12 nutrient mix at a 1:1 ratio, providing a balanced formulation widely used for mammalian, endothelial, and fibroblast cell culture. KCell DMEM/F12 offers a broad nutrient spectrum with optimised amino acid, vitamin, and trace-element content to support high viability and reproducible growth across diverse cell types.

Each lot is produced under cGMP and ISO-13485 standards to ensure consistency and regulatory reliability. Variants include differences in glucose concentration, L-glutamine, phenol red, and buffering systems, allowing users to match the formulation to specific process conditions. The medium can be supplied as a ready-to-use liquid or as a dry powder for bulk preparation.

KCell DMEM/F12 is commonly used in serum-free and reduced-serum systems for cultivated-meat research, particularly during scale-up or differentiation phases. The balanced formulation provides the nutrient stability required for long-term culture and complex co-culture systems.
