Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. KCell MEM (Minimum Essential Medium) is a balanced basal medium developed for the maintenance and propagation of a wide range of mammalian cells. Derived from Harry Eagle’s original formulation, it provides the essential amino acids, vitamins, and salts required for cell metabolism, making it suitable for fibroblast, epithelial, and other adherent cell lines used in cultivated-meat and biomedical research.
Produced under ISO-certified, cGMP-validated conditions, KCell MEM offers high consistency and purity across all batches. It can be ordered in liquid or powder form with configurable additives such as L-glutamine, phenol red, sodium pyruvate, and bicarbonate buffering, allowing precise alignment with individual cell-culture requirements. Each batch is tested for sterility, pH, and osmolarity to ensure reproducible performance.
The formulation supports both serum-containing and defined media systems, offering flexibility for early-stage R&D through to process development. Its simplicity, stability, and broad compatibility make KCell MEM a dependable foundation for mammalian cell culture in cultivated-meat, pharmaceutical, and tissue-engineering applications.
