Energy Efficiency in Bioreactor Scale-Up Processes
Scaling up bioreactors for cultivated meat production - from small (1–5 L) to large (1,000+ L) systems - brings energy challenges. Larger volumes require more power for mixing, oxygen transfer,...

Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.
MyoWorks provides direct post-sales support including troubleshooting, process optimisation, and protocol guidance. Batch-specific documents available on request.
MyoScaff 2D Scaffolds are edible, mycelium-based matrices supplied in a standard 12-well plate format, designed to facilitate the evaluation of cell attachment and proliferation on food-grade biomaterials. These ready-to-use disks allow researchers to transition from 2D plasticware to 3D edible scaffolds without altering established workflows or requiring complex preparation.
Derived from fungal mycelium, the scaffolds feature a highly porous, fibrous architecture that simulates the natural extracellular environment, promoting improved cell adhesion and tissue formation compared to synthetic substrates. The material is fully edible and biocompatible, ensuring that R&D results are directly translatable to final food product formulations.
The product is supplied gamma-irradiated and sterile-packaged. To use, the scaffolds require a simple rehydration step in culture media for 12 hours prior to cell seeding. This format is ideal for screening cell lines, optimising seeding densities, and conducting early-stage texture analysis.
Suitable for use with mammalian cell lines for cultivated meat applications where edible, plant-based scaffolding is required.
