Opo Bio bovine pre-adipocyte lines provide reliable primary cell sources for cultivated Wagyu beef adipose tissue development. Isolated from adult male Wagyu adipose tissue, these cells are specifically selected for their adipogenic potential to replicate the distinct marbling and flavour profiles of premium beef. They are supplied frozen and maintain stable differentiation potential, providing a strong foundation for fat tissue engineering.

All lines are adherent and validated for adipogenic marker expression, confirmed through CD31-negative and CD45-negative characterisation. Typical doubling times average seventy-three hours, with post-thaw viability exceeding ninety percent. Each vial contains approximately 1.2 million viable cells and is certified negative for bacteria, fungi, and mycoplasma. Sourcing from New Zealand donors ensures these cells are inherently free from BSE and other major global pathogens.
