Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.

The Kbiotech BioBook Compact is a modular benchtop bioprocessing platform designed for the research and pilot-scale development of cultivated meat. With a scalable working capacity from 50 mL to 20 L, it enables researchers to transition from early-stage cell line selection to process optimisation within a single, integrated system.

By maintaining consistent KLa correlations across its volume range, the BioBook Compact facilitates direct scale-up to industrial production without the need for extensive re-optimisation. The system is built on an industrial-grade PLC architecture and utilizes SmartBioFlex™ SCADA software, providing the data integrity and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance required for regulatory-aligned food safety dossiers.

The platform offers four interchangeable vessel configurations to suit different cellular agriculture workflows. Autoclavable glass vessels (up to 20 L) are ideal for media optimisation, while single-use options reduce turnaround times and contamination risks. For those simulating commercial environments, stainless steel vessels with CIP/SIP capabilities are available.

Integrated Process Analytical Technology (PAT) modules support real-time monitoring of critical parameters, including metabolic activity via the KG-FERM off-gas analyser and live cell density through LIVE-CELL™ capacitance sensors. These tools allow for precise control of the culture environment, ensuring the efficient production of muscle and fat biomass.

Suitable for R&D laboratories, seed train expansion, and pilot-scale process development. The BioBook Compact is a versatile tool for establishing the foundational bioprocesses of a cultivated meat facility.
