Most products require no additional agreements. Cell lines and certain biological materials require a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) on first purchase from each supplier. We handle this digitally - both parties sign online before shipment. Subsequent orders from the same supplier proceed immediately.
n!Biomachines provides direct post-sales support including troubleshooting, process optimisation, and protocol guidance. Batch-specific documents available on request.
The AUXO V® Benchtop Bioreactor is a fit-for-purpose bioprocessing platform designed for customizable microbial and cell culture applications with Siemens industrial-grade PLC control and user-friendly recipe-based interface across 2 L to 15 L borosilicate glass vessels. Built by The Cultivated B with German-Canadian engineering expertise, this system addresses essential bioprocessing needs through modular component selection, high-quality sensors, and advanced gas flow management while minimizing complexity for broad user accessibility. The platform supports single or dual parallel vessel operation with autoclavable multi-use glass vessels, optional single-use plastic vessels, and stainless steel configurations above 15 L for scale-up, featuring Rushton and marine impellers optimized for efficient oxygen transfer in both microbial fermentations and mammalian cell cultures. This approach delivers cost-effective, application-tailored bioprocessing with remote web-based monitoring, preprogrammed recipes, and 30-day data recording capacity for process development and optimization.
Each AUXO V bioreactor operates through Siemens PLC control with intuitive HMI touchscreen interface supporting recipe programming for automated sequencing of inoculation, temperature ramping, pH/DO cascade strategies, gas mixing profiles, and harvest protocols with complete batch documentation and remote access via web interface. Temperature control features application-specific heating and cooling options with jacketed vessel circulation supporting precise setpoints for mesophilic microbial growth and mammalian cell perfusion cultures, while gas supply includes mass flow controllers for up to four gases (compressed air, O₂, CO₂, N₂) with selectable spargers optimized for microbial kLa requirements or gentle cell culture bubbling. Process control integrates state-of-the-art pH and dissolved oxygen sensors with PID autotuning, temperature sensors with validation ports, and expandable pump modules for acid/base/antifoam/feed dosing with flow verification, enabling robust cascade control strategies and real-time process adjustments through the web-accessible SCADA interface.
The system is supplied as a complete control tower with customizable pump count, borosilicate glass headplate featuring multiple ports for sensors, probes, spargers, and sampling lines, Rushton/marine impeller assemblies with sanitary magnetic or mechanical coupling drives, and comprehensive utility connections for water, steam, compressed gases, and electrical power with IP65-rated enclosure. Standard sensor suite includes Mettler Toledo or equivalent ISM-compatible pH/DO probes with automatic calibration prompts, Pt-100 RTD temperature sensors, and optional biomass/turbidity probes for inline PAT monitoring. Headplate design accommodates wide port configurations for expanded analytics including off-gas analyzers, viable cell density sensors, and sterile sampling ports, while the modular chassis supports single or dual vessel operation with synchronized control for parallel experimentation. Additional options include single-use vessel adapters, expanded gas mixing (up to 8 gases), gravimetric feed control, and licensed preprogrammed recipes for common microbial and CHO cell processes.
The AUXO V® Benchtop Bioreactor is intended for research, process development, and small-scale GMP production of microbial and mammalian cell cultures. Full IQ/OQ protocols and validation support available through The Cultivated B.
